IT’S A FACT
Most people are unaware
…that
1 in 4 homeless adults is an unaccompanied woman.

…that
Homelessness is devastating and dangerous for
unaccompanied women.  It affects women ranging
in age from the very young to over 55, who have
been chronically homeless with mental
or physical disabilities.

…that
Homeless women have become one of our most pressing social problems due to the streets becoming home for too many.

Help, Hope and Success
due to WISEPlace

WISEPlace, a non-profit organization who opened its doors to these unaccompanied women since 1987, and is one of the few places they can go to begin again.  A place where she receives safe, affordable transitional housing; healthy meals; financial empowerment, curriculum and employment assistance, and personalized counseling!
